Welcome.
I have discovered a newfound "Joy" within the expression of art. Growing up as a child, I remember sitting with wonder watching Bob Ross filling the canvas with colors. He was a pivotal artist of our time leading us as babes to the realization, that we too have the ability to create. With every episode, Bob would share that mistakes, well...they were never really mistakes, but rather the foundation for what he called, "Happy accidents".
As years passed, I grew up sketching in graphite, with interests studying in calligraphy and ink; and while I briefly played with acrylics, I was dissatisfied with the constriction that I felt within the medium.
After recent exposure and introduction to the world of oils and living pigment, the inspiration to take to the canvas has been ignited with a love for oil painting.
I now find each stroke of the brush creating a story that I am eager to tell. I am humbled to share my artistic journey with you.
Today even as an adult, I find the work of Bob Ross timeless, as it evokes solace. My portfolio reflects the simplicity of the joy found throughout surreal landscapes. My hope is to bring a sense of peace to you through each work and glorify Jesus as the Creator of all.
